The opposition bundled the team in just six overs with the wrecker in chief being Alok Pal, from Swami Vivekanad International School, Borivali. The poor display of batsmanship saw Children's Welfare suffer the heaviest defeat in the history of inter-school cricket tournament. Batting first at the New Era ground in Azad Maidan, SVIS, scored 761 for the loss of four wickets in the stipulated 39 overs.
