Indian film actor Venkatesh Daggubati has penned a support note for Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of their opening clash against Kolkata Knight Riders. Sharing a throwback photo of him cheering his favourite team, Venky tweeted, "CAN’T WAIT FOR THE FIRST SRH MATCH OF THE SEASON! ALL THE BEST TO THE TEAM," followed by a heart emoticon. For the unversed, Venkatesh is an ardent fan of cricket, who always supports the local team Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premiere League (IPL). In fact, he attends almost all of the matches in person to cheer for the team, before the pandemic hit the globe.

SRH will be led by Australian cricketer David Warner while KKR will be led by Eoin Morgan. Apart from Warner, SRH also has Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, England Wicketkeeper-batsman Jonny Bairstow and Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar.  Indian Premier League (IPL) is the world’s biggest premier league for cricket and has players from almost every cricket playing nation participate in the tournament as part of different franchises. A keen observer  of the game, Venkatesh Daggubati always enjoyed being at the stadium cheering for his home team. On the work front, Venkatesh Daggubati will be seen in Narappa, a Telugu remake of the Tamil film Asuran. He also has two other Telugu films- F3 and Telugu remake of Malayalam flick Drishyam 2. Venkatesh Daggubati has also kickstarted shooting for F3, which is one of the highly-anticipated movies being directed by Anil Ravipudi.
