5 Big revelations that have emerged in Sushant's death after CBI and ED took over

Drugs 

It was after the central agencies took over that the drugs angle emerged in the case from unexpected quarters. The ED which was probing the money laundering angle came across Whatsapp chats of Rhea Chakraborty which indicates towards the 'usage and dealing of drugs'. After this the NCB also stepped-in and filed a case against Rhea and others. On August 26, the NCB registered a case under Sections 20, 22, 27 and 29 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act. The NCB has also booked Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and others. Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer, however, in a statement, said she has never consumed drugs and is ready for a blood test any time to prove the same.

Discrepancies in autopsy  report

The absence of 'time of death' in Sushant Singh Rajput's autopsy report had raised a lot of questions and when the CBI took over the case from the Mumbai Police, they took help from AIIMS forensic team. AIIMS forensic chief Sudhir Gupta in his interview to Times Now, claimed about discrepancies in the post mortem report. He also suggested that the police should have taken the second opinion and has submitted his suspicions to the CBI.

Destruction of 8 hard drives

Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend and flatmate Siddharth Pithani has told the Central Bureau of Investigation that eight hard drives were destroyed on June 8, before the actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty left the house. India Today reported that Sushant and Rhea had a fight, following which she moved out of his house, after having stayed there during the coronavirus lockdown. Siddharth said that he wasn’t aware of the contents of the hard drives, but noted that an IT person came to the house and conducted the process with both Sushant and Rhea present. He named house help Dipesh Sawant and cook Neeraj Singh as being witnesses to this. On quizzed on the allegations Rhea denied all of them stating nothing of this sort happened. 

Rhea Chakraborty and Mahesh Bhatt's conversation

One of the most shocking revelations in Sushant's mysterious demise came when the Whatsapp chat of Rhea and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt. Mahesh and Rhea's chat on June 8th suggests that she had informed the filmmaker of the fact that she was leaving Sushant as her father was unhappy with their relationship. While the content of the chat also suggested Mahesh Bhatt of advising and backing Rhea's decision of moving on in life. On the other hand, Rhea also goes on to address Mahesh Bhatt as her angel in the chats.

Leaked WhatsApp Chats

It is the leaked WhatsApp chats that has turned this case upside down, from Rhea's drug conversation to WhatsApp chat of Sushant's housestaff Dipesh with Sushant's friend Kushal Zaveri on the morning of June 14  which has raised a lot of eyebrows. As the CBI is investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput death case with every possible angle is being looked into. Whatsapp chat between Priyanka and Sushant from June 8 read as, 'Take Librium for a week then start nexito 10 mg once every day after breakfast. Keep Lonazep handy whenever there is an anxiety attack.' However, when Sushant pointed out that the medicines could be obtained only with a prescription, she asked him to call her to obtain the prescription. The chats revealed that Sushant's family was aware about his mental health.
