Actor Arjun Rampal’s sister, Komal, was spotted at the  Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office on Monday morning for questioning in a drugs case. Earlier, the NCB team had also raided Arjun’s Mumbai residencies and summoned his partner, Gabriella Demetriades whose brother, Agisilaos Demetriades was also arrested and later granted bail for a drug-related case. In his New Year post, Arjun alluded to him being summoned by the NCB for questioning as the agency investigated an alleged drug racket in Bollywood. He insisted that he has ‘done nothing wrong’. In a statement shared on Twitter, Arjun wrote, “I would like to assure each and every one of you that I am well aware of my responsibility as a celebrity, a father and a citizen of a country I love dearly that I have never been on the wrong side of the law. You all have nothing to fear or speculate as I have done nothing wrong.” He also revealed that many of his friends ‘disappeared’.

As for Arjun Rampal, the actor has appeared before the NCB on multiple occasions. The NCB is investigating the banned tablets that were found in the actor's possession. According to a report in Free Press Journal, Arjun claimed that the banned medication belonged to his sister and dog. Hence, the NCB has also summoned Komal Rampal. As per the report, two prescriptions have been seized for the medication. While one is from a Delhi-based doctor, the other is from Mumbai. Earlier, a report in Mumbai Mirror had stated that Arjun Rampal had submitted a backdated prescription from the Delhi doctor who gave it to him via a common friend. The NCB has also recorded the doctor's statement who has fully co-operated with the NCB.
