Arpita and Ayush name their daughter Ayat

Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan and husband Aayush Sharma embraced parenthood for the second time as the couple welcomed their baby girl on Friday afternoon. An ecstatic Aayush took to his Instagram handle to announce his daughter's name as Ayat. The name Ayat comes from an Islamic word that refers to the verses of the Holy Quran. Aayush wrote, "We have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Thank you so much for all the love and blessings for Ayat Sharma." 

The couple decided to welcome their baby through c-section and had chosen Salman's birthday as the special date. Last night Arpita and Aayush were seen at Salman's 54th birthday at Sohail Khan's residence and post the celebration Arpita was admitted to Hinduja Hospital for her delivery. It is indeed the best present Salman could have ever asked for. Check out Aayush Sharma's Insta post were he revealed the new member's name.
