Filmmaker and activist Ashoke Pandit on Wednesday slammed actress Swara Bhasker in a tweet where the actress came out in support of Rhea Chakraborty wherein she believed that Sushant Singh Rajput was a depressed and bipolar patient. Ashok Pandit in his tweet termed Swara a paid naxal and accused the actress for protecting the killers of the late actor. The Veere Di Wedding star in her recent interview to a news channel, said that she finds it sickening that conspiracy theories and lies are being fanned on social media. She also wondered why people are finding it difficult to believe that Sushant was depressed.  She also pressed on the importance of mental health.

Earlier, Swara slammed  all trolls sending hateful tweets to Rhea, for  blaming  the Jalebi actress for the death of the Chhichore actor. Hours after Swara’s tweet defending Rhea went viral, the twitter users trolled her and many were unsparing in their criticism. Today  the Supreme Court, pronounced the verdict giving nod for the investigation to be conducted by CBI. The orders were dictated within minutes of the single-judge bench assembling. Justice Roy had earlier held two hearings into Rhea Chakraborty's plea seeking transfer of the case from Patna to Mumbai. Former ASG Maninder Singh, appearing for the Bihar government, had submitted that Bihar CM had not interfered in the case and added that the recommendation for a CBI probe was based on the advice of the concerned authorities.  Several celebs and prominent authorities hailed the Supreme Court verdict.
