Bajrang Dal files complaint against Sai Pallavi over comments on Kashmiri Pandit exodus

A police complaint has been filed against actor Sai Pallavi for her comments on Kashmiri Pandit exodus and cow vigilantism.Bajrang Dal leaders have filed a complaint with the Sultan Bazar police station in Hyderabad over the remarks made in an interview.The police said they will take a look at the video and take further action after a legal opinion.During the promotions of her upcoming film, Virata Parvam, she compared Kashmir genocide to lynching for 'cow smuggling.'The opinion given to a YouTube channel had left the social media divided. While a section of people sided with Pallavi, others pointed out that both are not the same.

When asked about her political leanings, Pallavi said she was ideologically neutral and was brought up that way. She added that she doesn't know if the left-wing or the right-wing groups are right.he Paava Kadhaigal actor said, "I grew up in a neutral environment. I have heard about the left-wing and right-wing. But, I cannot say who is right and who is wrong. The film, The Kashmir Files, shows how Kashmiri Pandits were killed. Recently, there was an incident of a person being killed for carrying a cow because he was suspected to be a Muslim. After killing the person, the attackers raised 'Jai Shri Ram' slogans. Where is the difference between what happened in Kashmir and what happened recently?"Sai Pallavi is currently promoting her upcoming Telugu film "Virata Parvam". The movie, which also stars Rana Daggubati, is inspired by true events from the 1990s. It chronicles a love story against the backdrop of the Naxalite movement in the Telangana region.Sai Pallavi plays the character of Vennela, who falls in love with Naxal leader Ravanna (Rana Daggubati).
