"Difficult for children of broken families to cope with depression": Kangana reacts on Aamir Khan's daughter's health condition

A few days ago, Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan revealed that t she is clinically depressed. In response to it, on Monday, Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut said it is "difficult for broken families children". Taking to her verified Twitter account, Kangana wrote, "At 16 I was facing physical assault, was single-handedly taking care of my sister who was burnt with acid and also facing media wrath, there can be many reasons for depression but it’s generally difficult for broken families children, the traditional family system is very important."

For the uninformed, on World Mental Health Day, Ira made a video to raise awareness about the well-being of the mind and said, "Hi, I'm depressed. I have been for more than four years now. I've been to a doctor and I'm clinically depressed. I'm doing much better now. For over a year now, I wanted to do something for mental health, but I wasn't sure what to do."Continuing with the thought of starting a dialogue among her followers, Ira further shared, "I have decided to take you on a journey - my journey - and see what happens. Hopefully, we'll get to know ourselves and understand mental illness slightly better. I've thought of so many things to say. What should I say? Why am I doing this?"Kangana has often spoken on mental health, also taking indirect swipes at Deepika Padukone as well. She has often targeted people for making mental illness a publicity stunt.
