Foreign national with links to actor Arjun Rampal arrested by NCB in drugs case

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested Paul Bartel n Australian national who was in touch with Agisialos Demetriades, an accused arrested in two cases by NCB. The accused, an architect by profession and resides in Bandra, has been arrested in the SSR drug probe case. This is the same case where Rhea Chakraborty and others were arrested.According to sources Paul had links with Agisialos and is known to Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal for a long time. He was questioned initially by NCB officials when his residence was searched on Wednesday. NCB officials searched Paul's residence but there has not been any recovery. Paul was issued summons and was asked to be present at the NCB office on Thursday. According to sources, Paul arrived at the NCB Mumbai office at 10 am and was questioned by the team probing the case.

Meanwhile. actor Arjun Rampal's live-in partner Gabriella Demetriades also reached the NCB office in Mumbai for the second round of questioning on Thursday. Gabriella was questioned for around six hours on Wednesday by NCB officials. She arrived on Wednesday at around 11:30 am and was allowed to leave by 5:40 pm. On Thursday she arrived at around 11 am for the questioning and left by 5:30 pm. Arjun Rampal is scheduled to appear before the NCB today and will be questioned regarding alleged drug links. NCB sources have said that they have found electronic evidence against Arjun and Gabriella after the arrest of Gabriella's brother Agisialos in a second case registered by NCB. Agisialos's links were found with a Nigerian drug peddler Omega Godwin dealing in cocaine. On Sunday, producer Firoz Nadiadwala's residence was searched by NCB on basis of specific information shared by an accused arrested by the NCB last week. The search resulted in the recovery of 10 grams of Marijuana and Nadiadwala's wife Shabana Saeed was issued notice by the NCB and brought to the NCB office. Saeed was later placed under arrest by the agency.
