“In our heart we know the truth'': Shekhar Suman disheartened with AIIMS verdict on Sushant's death

Shekhar Suman, who has been one of the loudest voices demanding justice for Sushant Singh Rajput expressed his disappointment after the AIIMS Medical Board ruled out murder in the late actor's death case. The Movers and Shakers host, took to Twitter and shared his opinion on the AIIMS verdict. He tweeted, "We all fought for Sushant's justice for so long selflessly, relentlessly, fearlessly continuously. Sadly, the case went all over the place. There were so many loopholes. N some section of the media used it for its purpose. we  have been taken for a ride by so many. "He continued further saying, "But we won't give up. Not yet. There is a tiny glimmer of hope still left when the CBI files its report. Even if that is adverse we shall keep fighting in our heart of hearts for we know the truth. And truth never dies. #SSRcase."

Reacting to the AIIMS report of murder being ruled out, Shekhar said that this was bound to happen as it was a long time before they came into the picture. He wrote, "AIIMS report has come negative. i knew this wd happen. It was a foregone conclusion. ive been warning for a long time that the case has been hijacked, diverted mutilated. Disappointed, dejected, despaired, disheartened to so say the least." Even Vikas Singh, the lawyer representing Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh in his case against Rhea Chakraborty, has responded to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) report ruling out the murder angle. The senior advocate said that the report was ‘not conclusive’ and that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) can still treat Sushant’s death as a case of murder.

In August, Sushant’s father KK Singh released a video, calling Rhea a ‘murderer’ and accusing her of giving ‘poison’ to Sushant for a long time. “Rhea Chakraborty was giving poison to my son, Sushant, for a long time. She is his murderer. The investigating agency must arrest her and her associates,” he said in Hindi, in the clip. For the unversed, the medical board constituted by the forensic medicine department of AIIMS, confirmed, that  Sushant Singh Rajput was not murdered. He died by suicide. "It is a case of hanging and death by suicide," Dr Sudhir Gupta, chairperson of the medical board constituted to find out the manner and cause of death of Rajput, told TOI. The actor had been found hanging in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14.
