Kangana Ranaut and Pooja Bhatt get into war of words on nepotism row

Actress-filmmaker Pooja Bhatt, in a series of tweets on Wednesday spoke how the Bhatts have always introduced new talent in the industry, citing her upcoming film Sadak 2 as a recent example. In her tweets, Pooja Bhatt added how the Bhatts were once allegedly treated indifferently for their reputation of not going after big names: "There was a time when the Bhatts were accused of having something against established actors and made to feel inferior for only working with/launching newcomers and not chasing stars. And now the same people play the nepotism card? Google and tweet guys and won't even say think and speak."

She also wrote that Kangana Ranaut, was also launched by none other than Vishesh Films. Now, Kangana Ranaut's team have replied to Pooja's tweet. The team tweeted, ''Dear @PoojaB1972, #AnuragBasu had keen eyes to spot Kangana’s talent, everyone knows Mukesh Bhatt does not like to pay artists, to get talented people for free is a favour many studios do on themselves but that doesn’t give your father a license to throw chappals at her. The debate of nepotism gained momentum after the tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Kangana after Sushant's demise, shared an explosive video, talking about the actor's  death. The 'Queen' star said Sushant faced "emotional, psychological, and mental lynching by the industry bigwigs. The Gangster actress also called out media houses who wrote blind articles on the Kedarnath star which spoke about Sushant Singh Rajput in a bad light. She further added that the very same brigade of intellectual journalists also came after her. Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14. The late actor's last rites were performed on June 15 and were attended by his family and a few close friends.
