Mumbai police denies reports of Salman Khan's interrogation in Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case

It's been almost a month since Kedarnath actor Sushant Singh Rajput bid the world good-bye and since then a number of celebs have been questioned in connection with the actor's death. It was earlier reported that actor Salman Khan may be brought in for questioning. However, the latest reports suggest that he will not be summoned. Last week, Mumbai Police summoned Salman Khan’s previous manager Reshma Shetty for five hours. Post this, media reports suggested that the actor would also be brought in for questioning. However, the Police has denied the reports. Earlier, a petition seeking registration of cases against Bollywood bigwigs like Salman Khan, Ekta Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Karan Johar was filed for allegedly abetting actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide, citing jurisdictional limitations

So far, they have recorded the statements of over 35 people which include Rajput's family members, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, actor-friend Rhea Chakraborty, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, his Dil Bechara co-star Sanjana Sanghi and Yash Raj Films' casting director Shanoo Sharma among others. Sushant Singh Rajput (34), died by suicide in his Bandra apartment on June 14. Yesterday was the one month death anniversary of the M.S Dhoni star his co-stars and friends from the industry shared emotional notes in the late actor's memory. Meanwhile, Sushant's last film Dil Bechara is all set to hit the OTT paltform on July 24, the movie is the official remake of the 2014 Hollywood romantic drama The Fault in our Stars.
