NCB recovers drugs from producer Firoz Nadiadwala's Mumbai residence

In a big development, in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, drugs have reportedly been recovered from the residence of Bollywood film producer Firoz Nadiadwala on Sunday. While the filmmaker and his wife are being interrogated by the agency, an NCB official has confirmed recovering drugs from Firoz Nadiadwala's residence as per a TOI report.  "On Saturday, we conducted a major strike in Western Mumbai and Navi Mumbai where we recovered ganja in commercial quantity, Mephedrone and other different drugs. We also intercepted five peddlers and based on that we conducted and recovered some drugs today morning from his house which was supposed to be part of the same seizure."

News agency ANI revealed that one peddler has also been nabbed by the NCB on the intervening night of 7th and 8th November. Firoz is credited for producing films like Welcome Back, Phir Hera Pheri, Welcome among many others. Meanwhile, Arjun Rampal’s partner Gabriella Demetriades's brother Agisilaos Demetriades, who was arrested in connection with a drugs case by the NCB, was granted bail by a special court on Friday. However, the agency took Agisilaos into custody again in relation to another drug case. On the other hand, the special NDPS court in Mumbai on Saturday adjourned actress Deepika Padukone's former manager Karishma Prakash's bail plea in connection to the alleged drugs case to November 10.
