NCB  is all set to  question 25 A-lister Bollywood celebrities who have been named in the case which includes actors, directors, casting directors, production houses and others.  These are the people who have indulged in the procurement, consumption and peddling of drugs.  According to a report in Times Now, the accused Rhea and Showik have named some high-profile names hence the NCB is very carefully monitoring the case. A meeting is currently underway in Delhi headed by KPS Malhotra and DG Asthana of NCB. The meeting will essentially be focusing on how they will be proceeding with the investigation forward.Earlier, in the remand copy of Rhea, Showik and others, NC had mentioned that from them they have learnt names of people involved in the case, both from Bollywood and otherwise.

The names will be properly investigated and only after getting evidence will they summon these people.Today a  special court in Mumbai today denied bail to Rhea Chakraborty and others in the drug case. The magistrate court had earlier rejected her bail plea and granted the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), 14-days of judicial custody. Her bail was reportedly rejected on the rounds that she might influence others and tamper evidence. The accused might now approach the High Court. The NCB has arrested the ‘Jalebi’ actress under sections 8(c), 20(b), 27(a), 28, and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS). On Day 3 of her interrogation by the NCB, Rhea Chakraborty admitted that she was consuming not just marijuana, but also hard drugs.
