A fan obsessed with actress and former beauty queen, Pooja Chopra managed to knock on her front door for a selfie and autograph. In her interview with E-Times the Commando actress said, “It happened less than two months ago. I have moved into a new apartment where the security is quite strict but two guys breached security and reached outside my house. They rang my doorbell and asked for autographs and selfies. I was a little taken aback. I asked them if they stayed in the building or had come for some work. They told me that they don’t live there and were there only to meet me. I was really skeptical. Fortunately, I had two of my friends in the house with me. We all were looking at each other,” she recounts. Continuing further she said, I asked them to wear masks before clicking pictures,  and asked them to leave.  "They looked harmless but after that, I checked with the security as to who these people were and how they got in. They checked the CCTV cameras and found out that they had entered the premises on their bikes. The encounter was a little crazy and scary for me because you don’t expect people to follow your car and reach your house. Now, the security has gone tighter,"

The actress had recently tested positive for COVID-19. Pooja, along with Swara Bhasker, Shikha Talsania, Meher Vij, was shooting for ‘Jahaan Chaar Yaar’ in Goa when Meher tested positive and the shoot of the film suddenly came to a halt. Pooja is known for her work in films like ‘The World Before Her,’ ‘Aiyaary,’ ‘Yeh Toh Two Much Ho Gayaa’ among others. Pooja,  has actively been helping people find COVID resources through her social media handles, has even helped people get hospital beds. The actress said she recently discovered how powerful social media can be if used in the right way. “I was, in fact, among one of the first persons, who was able to help people through social media. I knew a doctor who had a hospital and someone in Thane needed a bed, so I helped them connect with each other and the person found the bed. Even before I tested positive, I have been helping people by amplifying their posts and sharing covid resourced related information. This is the least we can do in these difficult times. Every little help counts. It is heartening to see how humanity has come together in this crisis and is trying to help each other. However, I also urge everyone to wear masks and get themselves vaccinated whenever possible,” urges Pooja.
