Rhea and her brother Showik officially booked for drug conspiracy by Narcotics Control Bureau

The Narcotics Control Bureau, currently probing the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, today filed a case in Delhi. The NCB has registered a case under Sections 20, 22, 27 and 29 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act. The NCB has also booked Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and others, against whom the ED had prepared a case. Apart from Rhea and Showik Jaya Saha, Shruti Modi and Gaurav Arya, an alleged Pune-based drug peddler who is currently active in Goa will also be investigated.

Recently, the new drug angle had emerged and it was said that Sushant was being administered drugs by Rhea Chakraborty.Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) handed over Rhea’s chat records to the CBI and the Narcotics Control Bureau for a possible drug angle in the case. Reports suggest that Rhea’s ‘drug circle’ is booked under NDPS Act. The Whatsapp chats of Rhea recovered allegedly indicate that she was taking instructions from someone to administer a drug to the late actor. Earlier, it was reported that Rhea gave CBD oil to Sushant, which is banned and illegal.
