Rhea Chakraborty exchanged calls and SMS with a top Mumbai cop frequently after Sushant's death

In a shocking bit of news that has emerged is that Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was in close contact with a top cop from Mumbai Police according to a report in Zoom. As per the CDR carried by Times Now Channel, the cop in question is DGP Abhishek Trimukhe. It was a two way communication between Rhea and the top cop - twice Rhea called him from her phone, twice she received calls from the same number and there was also an SMS which was exchanged between the two on one of the days.

Apart from Rhea's alleged call to the top cop, her CDR also throws light on the exact number of calls exchanged between her and Sushant, ex-manager Shruti Modi and Sushant's manager Samuel Miranda. Interestingly,Rhea and Sushant had spoken on the phone only for 147 times while 808 calls were exchanged with Shruti and 289 with Samuel Miranda. The trio have been named in the FIR filed by CBI. Rhea is currently being interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with Sushant's death probe. She had requested for postponment until the Supreme Court hearing but ED rejected her plea.

The Mumbai Police has been given 3 days time by the Centre to revert with a response in their investigation following which, the case is expected to be handed over to CBI. Rhea has been booked by the Bihar Police unde IPC Section 306 (Abetment of suicide), Sec 341 (Punishment for wrongful restraint), Sec 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement), Sec 380 (Theft in dwelling house), Sec 406 (Punishment for criminal breach of trust), and Sec 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property).
