Days after his son’s death, Sushant Singh Rajput's father for the first time spoke about his late son, right from his career to his relationship status.Speaking to Tadka Bollywood, Sushant’s father revealed that after a lot of prayers they were blessed with a boy. Calling Sushant gifted child he said that he was a brilliant and sincere child since a kid. He wanted to make his life on his own terms. The disheartened father further added, “Bohot mannat maang ke paida hua tha Sushant. 3 saal mannat maangi thi uske liye. 4 ladkiyon main ek ladka tha. Aur jinke liye itni mannat maangte hain unke sath yahi hota hai".

When asked about Ankita Lokhande he revealed that she not just met him in Mumbai after the actor’s demise but also came to Patna to meet them and to stand beside them in this tough time. Well, not just Ankita, Sushant’s father revealed that on the day of funeral Kriti Sanon came to meet him. "Only Kriti Sanon met me in Mumbai. She sat and spoke to me. I couldn't recognise many of them because of the masks. She spoke highly of Sushant and said that he was a lovely person."  Sushant's father also revealed that his son wanted to do a lot of things for Bihar build school, colleges, hospital, etc but unfortunately didn't have the time to fulfill those wishes. He also recalled how he used to look at the plot he bought on the moon from his Rs. 55 lakh worth telescope he owned.  Sushant committed suicide on 14 June 2020. His father as well as sisters flew down to Mumbai and his last rites were held the next day.
