Sushant Singh Rajput's roommate explains what exactly happened the night before the actor's death

Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend and creative content manager Siddharth Pithani has been under the spotlight after the tragic demise of the late actor. Siddharth, who knew Sushant through a common friend was living with the actor in his flat for the past one year.  Siddharth, said that he didn’t know Rhea Chakraborty and never asked Sushant Singh Rajput about any of his personal matter with Rhea and gave the two their space. Siddharth further added that he was staying with Sushant Singh Rajput during the coronavirus lockdown and he met Sushant at 1 am, a night before his death. Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on the morning on June 14 at his Bandra residence.Siddharth said that Sushant Singh Rajput was upset over the news of his ex-manager, Disha Salian’s suicide as his name was being used in several reports. The 28-year-old manager had died by suicide on June 8.

Explaining the sequence of events, Siddharth said, "He came to my room on the 13th night at around 1 AM and said, 'Budha, you haven't slept yet. Why?'. I asked him, 'Why haven't you slept?' and he said, 'I am just going off to sleep.' We wished each other Goodnight. The next morning, when I went down, Keshav told me that Sir is not opening the door. Dipesh and I, and we tried to knock the door to wake him up. We called the key maker, called his sister also immediately. She also left instantly. And when we opened the door, we found him in that state, hanging." Earlier, Siddharth Pitani had penned an emotional note for late actor Sushant. Siddharth shared a candid picture with Rajput but the post has now been deleted.
