Sushant's family to move Bombay High Court against Rhea's FIR

Sushant Singh Rajput's family may approach the Bombay High Court against Rhea Chakraborty's FIR that she filed yesterday in Bandra Police Station accusing Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Priyanka Singh, Dr Tarun Kumar of RML hospital, and others for forgery and prescribing illegal drugs under the NDPS Act and Tele Medicine Practice Guidelines 2020. The FIR was filed on Monday night at the Bandra Police Station. Rhea, after being grilled by the Narcotics Control Bureau for eight hours, headed straight to the Bandra Police Station. Sushant Singh Rajput's family is likely to move the Bombay HC to get the FIR cancelled.

Vikas Singh, Sushant's family lawyer, says that the FIR filed by Mumbai Police against Rhea's complaint is wrong. Sushant Singh Rajput's family has an objection from this FIR because the Supreme Court had instructed that the CBI is in charge of Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The SC on August 19, in a detailed 35-page long judgement, had said that any further complaint registered in Sushant Singh Rajput death case will also be looked into by the CBI. Yesterday, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti has slammed Rhea and said that her complaint is ‘fake’. She wrote, “Nothing’s gonna break us, definitely not this fake FIR! #SSRFamilyStandsStrong #UnitedForSSRJustice #WholeIndiaIsSSRFamily”The FIR filed by the actress has been transferred to the CBI for further investigation. Today, her lawyer Satish Maneshinde released a statement that read, “Rhea Chakraborty has set the Criminal Law in motion by filing her complaint with Bandra Pstn. The Cocktail of Illegally Administered Medicines and Drugs may have lead to SSRs suicide on 14th June 2020. His sisters need to be answerable to the investigators and God. 🙏🌹”
