Tabu Instagram account hacked, actress reports suspicious activity on her profile

Actress, Tabu's instagram account has been hacked after the actress reported a fake promotional activity from her account went viral. The Drishyam actress, soon,  took to her Instagram story option to bring notice to the matter. “Hack alert. My account is hacked. Please do not click on any link from my account”. Several other celebrities have been victims of  hacking, the latest being Sharad Kelkar,  Ameesha Patel, Farah Khan, and Asha Bhosle.

 

One of the most respected and acclaimed actresses of her generation, Tabu – born Tabassum Fatima Hashmi – has starred in over 80 films in Hindi, English and multiple other languages and has far too many awards and accolades to name. She has caught the eye of international critics for a while now, be it the subtle perfection of her work in Life of Pi (2012) directed by Ang Lee, or her earlier work in The Namesake (2006) directed by Mira Nair. Both award-winning directors had high praise for their leading lady. For all the serious movies she’s done, Tabu’s done a handful of comedies and handled them with equal ease and elegance. In the summer of 2019, she was the surprise package in the romcom De De Pyaar De and  Jawaani Jaaneman.
