This is how Rhea reacted with her parents after she returned from Byculla jail

After spending 28 days at the Byculla Jail on drugs-related charges, Rhea Chakraborty was released yesterday on stringent conditions. In a interview Rhea's mother Sandhya said, after her daughter returned home, the first thing she told her parents was, “‘Why do you look sad, we have to be strong and fight this’..” Also, Rhea’s mother talked about how despite being attacked mentally and physically, her daughter maintained her dignity. Furthermore, Rhea’s mother wondered how her daughter will heal from whatever she has gone thought but she reitereated that Rhea is a fighter and she will come out strong. “I’ll have to put her on therapy to help her get over this trauma and reclaim her life,” said her mother. Sandhya admitting that she contemplated suicide. She said that she hasn’t been able to eat properly or sleep on the bed ever since her children were arrested and put behind bars.

Rhea was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Wednesday, after spending nearly a month at the Byculla Jail for drug-related charges in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Rhea has been accused by Sushant’s father of abetting the actor’s suicide and misusing his funds. She was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in September, after the central agency found evidence related to her purchase of banned drugs. The court gave Rhea Chakraborty bail on the condition of furnishing bond of Rs. 1 lakh. The actor’s lawyer requested a month to furnish the bail bond, which the court allowed. Other conditions include that she mark her presence at the nearest police station for ten days after her release. The court has also required her to deposit her passport and not allowed her to travel outside the country without the prior permission of the court. The actor will also have to inform the investigating officer if she wants to leave Greater Mumbai.
