Amazon.com had recently announced that superstar Amitabh Bachchan will lend his voice to the tech giant’s assistant device Alexa starting next year. He will be the first Indian actor to voice the Amazon artificial intelligence gadget. In a post for its India blog, Amazon said the new feature will be available for India users. The new Alexa voice will offer jokes, weather updates, motivational quotes, advice and more. Bachchan, who will be the first Indian actor to voice the Amazon gadget, said in the blog post that the tech opportunity has allowed him to explore a new medium.

However the announcement has met with mixed response as netizens who have now made a petition for a major change. Many of them have signed a Change.Org petition demanding the ouster of Big B  as voice of Alexa in India. Recently, a video of Goswami elling at superstar Salman Khan has been making the rounds on social media. In the video, Goswami can be heard bringing up Salman Khan’s remark that he’d felt “like a raped woman."After this he screams at the actor, asking him why he is silent during the drugs controversy. Later, he asks, "There is not a single tweet on the matter of Disha Salian. Why are you silent on the murder of Sushant Singh Rajput? In which city are you living, Salman?"

The petition has garnered more than thousand signatures as majority of them want journalist Arnab Goswami as voice of Alexa in India. The petition has received a positive response which claims the Sholay actor always sides himself from voicing on Nation's matters and is focused more about himself and his family wherein his family is supporting the drug nexus and movie mafia. On the other hand Arnab Goswami is single-handedly put his voice for entire nation urging him for help and started campaign to bring out the trut for any justice & campaign going against the government risking his life.  For the unversed, Jaya Bachchan defended the film industry on charges of drug addiction in Parliament. Jaya Bachchan had also taken a dig at actor and BJP MP from Gorakhpur Ravi Kishan (without taking his name), saying: "I was really embarrassed and ashamed as a Lok Sabha MP spoke against industry." "Jis thaali me khate hain, usi me ched karte hain," she had added.
