Union Minister Gurjar tests positive for Covid-19
Chandigarh, Aug 27 Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Pal Gurjar tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday.
He is the fourth Parliamentarian representing Haryana, to have tested positive for Covid-19.
The 67-year-old BJP MP from Faridabad asked all those who had come in contact with him over the past few days to take coronavirus seriously and get themselves tested.
He tweeted that he had been experiencing health problems and got his Covid-19 test done.
Earlier, three BJP Parliamentar from the state Sanjay Bhatia, Brijendra Singh and Nayab Singh Saini had tested positive for coronavirus.
Besides, eight BJP legislators from Haryana, including Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta, Transport Minister Mool Chand Sharma and Agriculture Minister J.P. Dalal, had also tested positive for the virus.
