Beneficial for the heart -  Running or walking is very good for your heart. People who walk regularly have less heart related diseases. Walking increases blood circulation in the heart and reduces the bad cholesterol in the body. People who walk on a daily basis do not face blood pressure issues. 

Improves your mood - Walking can help your mental health.  According to studies walking can help reduce anxiety, depression, and a negative mood. It can also boost self-esteem and reduce symptoms of social withdrawal.
