CBI requests Mumbai Police to provide protection to Rhea Chakraborty

Rhea Chakraborty is constantly in the news and being discussed for Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh has filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, levelling serious allegations against the actor and her family.

After this everyday there is some new angle emerging in the actor's death case. The CBI is investigating the case. 

Rhea Chakraborty was grilled by the CBI on Friday for over ten hours, as part of the Sushant Singh Rajput death probe.

After leaving the DRDO guest house Rhea and her brother Showik, directly visited Santacruz Police Station and were later escorted by the Mumbai Police to their residence from there. Rhea had reached Mumbai's Santa Cruz police station to file a complaint about 'media hounding'.

The Central Bureau of Investigation has now requested the Mumbai police to provide protection to Rhea, said a Mumbai Police official. The Mumbai Police will provide protection to Rhea Chakraborty whenever she commutes from her residence to DRDO guest house. 

Rhea Chakraborty in a Instagram post had asked for police protection after a crowd gathered inside her building compound. 

Rhea shared a video of her father Indrajit Chakraborty entering the building premise when a huge crowd of people surround him immediately. She shared this video and wrote, "This is inside my building compound, The man in this video is my father Indrajit chakraborty ( retd . army officer ) We have been trying to get out of our house to cooperate with ED , CBI and various investigation authorities to cooperate. There is a threat to my life and my family’s life. We have informed the local police station and even gone there, no help provided."
