Disclose amount of oxygen allotted to states, Ajit Pawar asks Centre

The Maharashtra government is working day and night to fight the oxygen crisis created during the Corona period. The state government is also trying to produce 3,000 metric tonnes of oxygen. However, Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister of Pune Ajit Pawar has demanded that the Union government should disclose the amount of oxygen supplied to states.

A Coronavirus review meeting was held at the Divisional Commissioner's Office in Pune under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. After this, Pawar, while interacting with journalists, commented on various issues. Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao was present on the occasion. Pawar said there was a lack of oxygen in the second wave of corona. We strive for maximum production of oxygen. However, the central government also needs to supply more capacity oxygen to the states where corona patients are large in numbers.

A third wave of corona is expected in the state. Ajit Pawar informed that preparations for the third wave have been started in Pune in this connection. The state's supply of 1,200 metric tonnes of oxygen will now be increased to 1,800. The administration is working day and night. In the third wave, children are said to be at risk. Therefore, preparations for the third wave have already been started, informed Pawar.

Planning to produce vaccine up to 10 crores

The country needs vaccines for all its citizens. But vaccine production capacity is limited. We plan to produce up to 10 crore vaccines, said Ajit Pawar.
