“Dost dost na raha”:Devendra Fadnavis mocks Uddhav Thackeray on govt formation in Maharashtra

Maharashtra Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackreay  and Devendra Fadnavi's friendship turned sour after 2019 Maharashtra polls. where the BJP and Shiv Sena failed to form a government due to differences in their preferred Chief Minister and important portfolio positions. The two have often taken potshots at each other at various platforms resulting in a war of words. Now, the former Maharashtra minister took a sly dig at Uddhav at the Lokmat SurJyotsna Awards 2021. Fadnavis dedicated a special song to his old friend which gives a inside glimpse of their strained relationship.

Fadnavis taking a dig at Uddhav sang, the song, ‘Dost Dost Na Raha’ from movie ‘Sangam’ sung by legendary singer Mukesh. Sarcastically reacting on his current equation with Uddhav, the former CM was at his hilarious best. Now, the the two are at loggerheads over the death of social media star Pooja Chavan. The name of Shiv Sena leader from Vidarbha region and forest minister Sanjay Rathod has cropped up in the case. On Saturday, Thackeray had announced a probe. 

“A thorough probe will be done and the truth will come out before the people. The guilty will be punished but innocent need to suffer... the truth will not be hidden,” he had said.
