Eknath Khadse's son-in-law Girish Chaudhary arrested by ED

Eknath Khadse's son-in-law Girish Chaudhary has been arrested by the ED last night in connection with a land scam in Bhosari. This has come as a big shock to Khadse.

Khadse had to lose his post as revenue minister during the coalition government in the Bhosari land scam. Khadse was later summoned by the ED for questioning. Khadse had faced this inquiry. Khadse's daughter Sharda was also summoned by the ED for questioning.

After this, his son-in-law Girish Chaudhary was called for questioning. Girish Chaudhary was questioned whole day on Tuesday.

The ED announced on Wednesday morning that Girish Chaudhary was arrested last night. This is likely to get Eknath Khadse in trouble now. Khadse had said that the Zoting committee had given him a clean chit.

However, Khadse was accused of misusing his position to deal with the land. It was later revealed that the land belonged to MIDC. NCP's Amol Mitkari said this is being done after BJP's 12 MLAs were suspended. Something like this was going to happen. Because ED is the darling of BJP. They are used to subdue opponents.
