"Enough is enough": Pawar gets angry at reporters during his press conference

National Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Monday reiterated his claim that Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh was admitted to the hospital in the time period on which former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh has raised allegations on Deshmukh's meeting with the Mumbai police officials.

Addressing media here, Pawar said, "If you see the former Commissioner's (Param Bir Singh) letter, he mentions that in mid-February, he was informed by certain officers that they got such and such instructions from the Home Minister. From 5th-15th February, Deshmukh was admitted in the hospital because of coronavirus."

However, this time the journalists told Pawar that Deshmukh held a press conference on February 15. He had also posted the video on his Twitter account. This irked Pawar and said "Enough is enough".

Sharad Pawar held a press conference at his residence in Delhi after a letter from former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh was echoed in both the Houses of Parliament. This time, he explained the events of the month of February. He also presented documents showing that Home Minister Anil Deshmukh was in the hospital during this period.

Singh had said the recovery notice was issued in mid-February. I have the documents. Anil Deshmukh was admitted to the hospital from February 5 to 15 due to corona. I have also taken this information from the hospital.

the NCP chief said, " I made my claims based on the documents I have."

Following Sharad Pawar's statement, BJP Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis immediately tweeted a video of Anil Deshmukh at a press conference on February 15.

Devendra Fadnavis tweeted, “Anil Deshmukh was home quarantine from February 15 to 27, says Pawar. However, on the 15th, a press conference was held with the security guards and a media representative in front. Who exactly is this? ”
