Heavy rains disrupt traffic on Aurangabad-Nagpur highway

Due to continuous rain since early morning on Thursday, waterlogging was witnessed near Shelubazar in Washim district. Commuters faced a lot of inconvenience as some vehicles developed snag while passing through Aurangabad-Nagpur highway roads inundated with rainwater.

Heavy rains lashed Shelubazar area of ​​Mangrulpeer taluka since Thursday morning. 

Due to poor drainage, the Shelubazar Chowk was flooded at different points soon after the rainfall started in the wee hours today. Water accumulated near the Shelubazar chowk disrupted traffic on the Aurangabad-Nagpur expressway. As the rains subsided after few hours the flood waters also receded.
