Mumbai: Power outage at Maharashtra Secretariat Building

A power outage was reported at Maharashtra Secretariat Building on Friday afternoon, due to high voltage at Nariman Point receiving point.

A team of engineers have been deployed for restoration work, said PRO, Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST).

A similar incident had occurred on October 12 when a massive power outage brought Mumbai to a complete halt also disrupting train traffic of Central, Eastern and Western lines. The state and Centre constituted committees to investigate the reasons behind the incident.
