Parambir Singh Letter Bomb: Anil Deshmukh was under Covid quarantine on date mentioned by Parambir Singh, Pawar dismisses allegations

NCP president Sharad Pawar on Monday slammed former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh's allegations against state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh to collect Rs 100 crore from Mumbai's restaurants, bars and hookah bars.

According to Parambir Singh in the letter, Anil Deshmukh was quarantined at his residence in Nagpur in mid-February due to corona. Therefore, there is no question of meeting him,"said Sharad Pawar, dismissing the allegations made by Parambir Singh.

Sharad Pawar presented the documents at the press conference that Anil Deshmukh was admitted in the hospital due to corona and was quarantined after discharge. Anil Deshmukh was admitted to the hospital from February 5 to 15 due to corona. He was discharged on February 15. He was then quarantined at his residence in Nagpur from February 15 to 27. So there is a big difference between the allegations made by Parambir Singh and the facts. It has been proved that Anil Deshmukh did not meet anyone in February", said Sharad Pawar.

Anil Deshmukh was hospitalized in February due to corona. He was then quarantined. Therefore, there is no possibility of Sachin Vaze and Anil Deshmukh meeting during this period. Therefore, the allegations of Parambir Singh appear to be false, said Sharad Pawar.

"The ATS is investigating the Mansukh Hiren case in the right direction. The last clues in the case are in the hands of the ATS and a conclusion has been reached. At the same time, Parambir Singh has written a letter to divert attention from the investigation and make false allegations," Pawar claimed. "Parambir Singh was given the target of recovery, so why did he remain silent for a month? Why did he speak only after he was transferred?", Pawar raised this question.
