PM Modi in Yavatmal: Prime Minister Inaugurates Infrastructure Projects Worth Over Rs 4900 Crores (Watch Video)

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday, February 28, inaugurated and dedicated multiple infrastructure projects related to rail, road and irrigation worth more than Rs 4900 crores. He also distributed one crore Ayushman cards and released the 2nd and 3rd instalments of ‘Namo Shetkari MahaSanman Nidhi’ across Maharashtra.

PM Modi's flag-off of the historic train service between Kalamb-Wardha and the first DEMU from Amalner to Ashti. The inauguration of the new Ashti-Amalner (B) railway section will boost industrial activities in Marathwada and pave the way for the social and economic development of the backward region.

The projects include the Wardha-Kalamb broad gauge line and the New Ashti-Amalner broad gauge line. Additionally, two train services connecting Kalamb-Wardha and Amalner-New Ashti were virtually flagged off by the Prime Minister, enhancing rail connectivity in the region.

PM Narendra Modi Inaugurates and Dedicates Multiple Infrastructure Projects:

Furthermore, several irrigation projects, developed at a cost exceeding Rs 2,750 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana (PMKSY) and Baliraja Jal Sanjeevani Yojana (BJSY), were also inaugurated. These projects are strategically designed to benefit the Marathwada and Vidarbha regions, contributing to agricultural development.
