Ram Kadam demands withdrawal of probe against Bharat Ratnas Lata Mangeshkar & Tendulkar

BJP MLA Ram Kadam has demanded Home Minister Anil Deshmukh to withdraw the probe ordered by Maharashtra government into the background of the tweets made by celebs like Bharat Ratnas Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar and investigate personalities like Sonam Kapoor, Anurag Kashyap, Farhan Akhtar and Parineeti Chopra. Ram Kadam has written a letter to Anil Deshmukh in this regard.

Ram Kadam has demanded that the inquiry into the tweets of Bharat Ratna awardees Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar, as well as actors Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty, should be cancelled. And demanded that tweets of celebs like Sonam Kapoor, Anurag Kashyap, Farhan Akhtar, Parineeti Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Swara Bhaskar, Ali Fazal, Ravish Kumar, Hardik Patel who speak Congress language should be investigate.

Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Monday ordered a probe into whether the BJP influenced the tweets done by celebs like Bharat Ratnas Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar, Akshay Kumar, Saina Nehwal and others on the ongoing farmers' protest.

Last week, after international pop star Rihanna, environmental activist Greta Thunberg and former adult movie star Mia Khalifa's posts on the farmers' protest in India, many Indian celebrities like Bollywood actors and sportspersons, including cricketers, posted counter-tweets, calling for national unity.

BJP leader and former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis also questioned the state government’s sanity. Fadnavis claimed that the MVA government had lost all its senses as it ordered a probe against Bharat Ratnas like Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar.
