Sanjay Raut on CBI for Sushant death case: It is not fit for me to comment on the verdict of SC

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has reacted to Supreme Court's decision to allow the CBI to probe Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. 

He said,"Those in the government who know the law, the Mumbai Police Commissioner or our Advocate General can talk about it, it is not fit for me to comment on the verdict of Supreme Court."

He further added, Supreme Court has given its verdict, it is not right to make political comments. Our state's justice system has always been one of the best in the country, no one is above law here & to provide justice to all has been the norm.

Earlier, Raut had said that the late actor was not on good terms with his father. The Sena leader had told the media that Sushant's father had married twice, which was the reason the Bollywood actor was unhappy with K.K. Singh.

His comments angered Sushant's family and they even slapped Raut with a legal notice. Neeraj Kumar Bablu, Sushant's cousin, had sent a legal notice to Sanjay Raut over his controversial remarks. He had also sought a public apology from Sanjay Raut in 48 hours or face legal consequences. 

The apex court on Wednesday morning ordered a CBI probe into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and asked Mumbai Police to hand over all evidence collected so far in the case to CBI.
