Sharad Pawar is like 'Corona' for Maharashtra, says BLP leader Gopichand Padalkar

While criticizing Thackeray government and NCP president Sharad Pawar over reservation for Dhangar Community, BJP MLC Gopichand Padalkar said Pawar is like 'Corona' for Maharashtra. He has been leading Maharashtra for the last several years. During this period, his role of atrocities against the Bahujans in the state has remained the same, said Padalkar, targeting Pawar. Sharad Pawar has no ideology, agenda, vision. He has only provoked small groups and taken them on his and have done injustice to them.

I don't think Pawar is positive about reservations for Dhangar Community. He only wants to politicize the issue of reservation of Dhangar Samaj, said Padalkar.

Devendra Fadnavis and his government had announced a package for Dhangar Samaj. However, due to the formation of the new government, no action could be taken against it. But MVA government did not even give a single rupee from that package. The package announced by Fadnavis for Dhangar included a five hostels for students, and it also had a decision on students preparing for UPSC, MPSC.

However, the present government has not given a single rupee for this. We will surely speak on this issue in the session of the legislature, said Padalkar. The state government is playing different roles in different societies. The Dhangar Samaj reservation case is also pending in the court. Why didn't you hire a lawyer for that? Why not pay their fees? Why don't they meet? We are underrepresented because we have too few representatives. If this is the situation of Dhangar Samaj, which is the second largest community in the state, then what about other small communities ?, he asked.
