Shocking Video! Tigress cub picking up a plastic bottle in Tadoba, video goes viral

A shocking video has gone viral from Alizanza, a tourism zone in the buffer of the popular Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) in Maharashtra. The viral video shows a tigress cub picking up a plastic bottle.

The video was shot by some tourists showed the tigress cub picking up the plastic bottle and chewing it before walking away with it.

While the tourists were busy clicking photos and video of the tiger, someone can be heard in the background saying "tiger doing the cleaning job". As per 2020 estimate, there are around 115 tigers in Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve core and buffer areas.

In December, there was a similar incident when some tourists spotted three cups of one of the resident females, Junabai was seen playing with a plastic bag, deep inside the forest.

In the past few years, several such disturbing imaged have emerged from various forests and protected areas showing animals including elephants, deer, and monkeys feeding on plastic waste.
