Special CBI court extends custody of Kapil and Dheeraj Wadhavan till 1st May

Central Bureau of Investigation custody of Kapil and Dheeraj Wadhavan has been extended till 1st May by a Special CBI Court in Mumbai, in connection with the Yes Bank case.

The CBI on Sunday arrested Dewan Housing Finance Limited (DHFL) promoter Kapil Wadhawan and his brother Dheeraj Wadhwan from Mahabaleswar in Maharashtra's Satara district in Yes Bank fraudulent case.

Both were arrested in cooperation with district authorities on the basis of Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) of arrest issued by a special Central Bureau of Investigation session court, Mumbai.

The Wadhawan brothers are accused in multi-crore Dewan Housing Finance Limited (DHFL) scam and Yes Bank scam.
