Cancel winter session at Nagpur, demands Janmanch

Nagpur, Oct 15

The Winter Session of Maharashtra State Legislature to be held at Nagpur from December 7, 2020 should be cancelled, the Janmanch organisation has demanded.

Every year crores of rupees are spent on winter session to held at Nagpur. Entire government and administrative machinery has to be shifted to Nagpur. Around `150 crore to `200 crore are spent on repair and maintenance at Ravi Bhavan, Nag Bhavan, MLA Hostel and others. The financial condition of state is in bad shape due to coronavirus pandemic. They are also to be helped. The government should cancel Nagpur winter session and hold at Mumbai only. The session should be organised online. The funds saved should be used to boost health department set up in Vidarbha, demanded president of Janmanch Pramod Pande, vice-president Rajeev Jagtap, Radke, general secretary Naresh Khsirsagar, Kharsane, Aakhre, Jawalkar and others.
