Online karate training to keep kids fit in lockdown

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought all outdoor and indoor sporting activities to a standstill. However, the sports association have found ways of keeping players engaged during this crisis through online classes , tournament & webinars.

President of Karate-Do Association of Nagpur District (KAND) Dr Zakir Khan himself has been conducting online classes to keep the Students Fit & Engaged

The online classes are also conducted by instructors who have taken their training from him and are currently following his footsteps to promote fitness among the students. The Nagpur headquarter Instructors are Shihan Emmanuel Philip,Shihan Pankaj Khandagale,Shihan Prabhakar Bhasme,Shihan Irfan Y. Khan, Shihan Hemant Yadav,Shihan Shawar Khan,Shihan Rakesh Dhoke,Shihan Aminuddin Sheikh,Sensei Praful Gurunule, Sensei Sachin Lohakare,Sensei Kuldeep Chikane,Sensei Shyamsunder Singh,Sensei Tejaswini Dhoke,Sensei Aayush Tipre,Sensei Yash Kohale,Sensei Aryan Mishra,Sensei Sakshi Fulzele,Sensei Tarul Barve,Sensei Teena Barve,Sensei Mrunal Wankhede,Sensei Maan Kukreja,Sensei Khushal Patil,Sensei Sufiyan Mugal,Sensei Sarvesh Gaidhane,Sensei Dilansh Nikos and ,Sensei Gunadnya Bawankar.

Following the huge response from the students after the online sessions, Dr. Khan has decided to organise various online competitions and this will help the students physically Fit and also improve their mental state in this time of pandemic.

Not just karate, recently Boxing Federation of India conducted online education program to explain the nuances of injury Management to fellow boxers. The Archery Association of India (AAI) on Thursday began first-ever online training of its coaches by experts from various fields All India Football Federation (AIFF) in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India (SAI) has also arranged online coach education programme in April.
