In a closely contested match between All India Reporter & MSSC at VCA Civil Lines ground, Anshuman Rath with a powerful 93 runs of 97 balls saw MSSC through with a last ball boundary in Guzder League 'A' Division Cricket Tournament on Saturday.

Batting first AIR scored 252 for nine in 50 overs. Aman Sharma missed the century by just two runs. His 98 runs knock in 121 balls was studded with six sixes and three boundaries. Kshitij Dahiya (51, 69b, 7x4) too bated well. For MSSC Sanket Subhedar (3 for 23) was the most successful bowlers.

In reply, MSSC achieved the target on last ball sparing just one wicket. Thanks to Rath who slammed 93 in 97 balls with the help of seven boundaries and one six.

At VCA Jamtha, MRCC defeated Reshimbagh Gymkhana by seven runs. Batting first MRCC scored 242 for 8 in 35 overs. Opening batsman Siddhesh Wath scored brilliant hundred (123 b, 123b, 8x4, 6x6) He was well supported by Atharva Taide (59, 61b, 2x4, 2x4). Rohit Dattatray remained not out on 29.

For Reshimbagh Gymkhana, Nachiket Bhute (3 for 19) was the main wicket taker. Rahul Dongarwar (3 for 25) too bowled well.

At VCA Kalamna ground, Navniketan Cricket Club, continuing their winning streak recorded four-wicket victory over Advocate XI. Batting first riding on Rishabh's century (105, 114b, 10x4, 4x6) Advocate XI scored a decent total of 105 in 114 balls hitting ten boundaries and four sixes. Chakresh Khurana played an unbeaten knock of 46 in just 32 balls hitting three fours and equal number of sixes.

The match between Indian Gymkhana and Lipton Cricket Club was abandoned due to wet patches following overnight rain at City Gymkhana ground.
