The quarantine period of Vidarbha women team will end on Tuesday. The team which is placed in Elite Group 'E' is in Chennai for the Senior Women One Day Tournament to be played from March 13.

All girls are in a positive frame of mind." Asked whether the players are lacking practice due to lockdown and then restrictions She said, “ During lockdown we conducted online sessions for our players and once the lockdown lifted, some practice sessions were also conducted. But comparatively there is a difference between online practice and on ground sessions. Still we are satisfied with our preparations”

About team combination Thatte said, “ We have a combination of young and experienced players. Komal Zanzad,Bharti Fulpmali and Disha Kasat are our key players. At the same time upcoming players Ayushi Thakre and Prangini Chavan are also doing well”.

About last year's performance Thatte said, “ Last season our performance was not up to the mark. The main reason behind it is that some of our key players likeDisha, Bharti and Vaishnavi were injured and we desperately missed their services”, she said.

The team which reached Chennai on March 4 will play their first match against Meghalaya. Since reaching there, the team is in quarantine and the team members have hardly moved out of the hotel.
