14-year old boy's egg cart destroyed by corrupt officials for a sum of Rs 100

In a shocking bit of news that has come to light from Indore a 14-year old boy had to bear the brunt of civic officials after his egg cart was destroyed in Indore.  In a video that has gone viral on social media the teenager alleged that the officials warned him to remove his cart from the road or give them Rs 100. The boy, dressed in white clothes, claimed that when he refused to remove his cart or pay the bribe, the civic body officials overturned his cart, which destroyed all the eggs.With his little shop destroyed, the angry teenager is seen in videos gesturing angrily at two men, who appear to be Indore civic body officials.

The Madhya Pradesh administration has implemented ‘left-right’ rule for shops and vendors as a measure to control the spread of novel coronavirus. Earlier, Indore District Collector Manish Singh had said the "left-right" system was introduced for business establishments in Indore city as a new way to curb the spread..Under this, shops on the right side of the road will be allowed to open on one day, followed by those on the other side the next day. The decision, however, was slammed by the members of the ruling BJP in Madhya Pradesh with the leaders asking the state government to remove the ‘left-right’ system.
