On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi got emotional while lauding Varanasi for fighting efficiently against the second wave of the COVID-19 crisis. During his video conference with the healthcare professionals he choked with emotions while thanking doctors, frontline workers. The effect of the pandemic has been so vast that despite all efforts, numerous lives were lost, the PM said in a voice choked with emotion. "This virus has snatched many of loved ones from us. I pay my humble tribute to them and I express my condolences to the families who lost people," he said.

Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Friday reflected back on his prediction regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi he made last month. Last month, Singh had said that Prime Minister Modi would come on TV and cry while talking about the Corona situation in the country. Singh shared his prediction on Twitter.

Now, MP Imtiaz Jaleel has also called Modi's 'teary-eyed' address 'acting'. Also, while millions of people were crying in the country, Hon'ble Prime Minister was in West Bengal and doing 'Didi O Didi', said Imtiaz Jaleel.

Shiv Sena and AIMIM have clashed in Aurangabad over the issue of lockdown in the state. AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jaleel has taken a firm stand that if the state government does not end the lockdown, we will open all shops in Aurangabad from June 1 and protest the lockdown.  In addition, Jalil also reacted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's emotional speech. "Now there is no reason to come on TV and cry. We know it is acting. When it was time to take care of the people, they were going and campaigning, gathering millions of people and now you are spreading knowledge, 'said Jalil, criticizing Modi.

He had also tweeted saying,"I always thought nobody could do emotional acting better than Dilip Kumar sahab. I was proved wrong today!".
