The government (Cyber ​​Dost) has warned people not to share the Covid-19 vaccine certificate online. There is a big reason for this warning. In fact, the vaccination certificate contains a variety of information, including name, age and gender, as well as the date of the next dose. The post states that this information can also be used for fraud by creating fake documents. So you have to be careful.

This tweet has been shared on Cyber ​​Dost's official Twitter account. It is a safety and cyber security awareness tool developed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The photo, shared in the tweet, states that the 'Covid-19 vaccination certificate contains the person's name and other private information. Do not share your vaccine certificate on social media platforms. Because cybercriminals can use it to defraud you.'

After the first dose, the government issued a provisional certificate. It contains personal information as well as the date of the second dose. So the final certificate is given after taking the second dose. This vaccination certificate can be used for many things in the future, including international travel.
The certificate can also be downloaded from the online Arogya Setu app or the CoWin portal.
