'Iron Man' of the country Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, know about his life on his death anniversary

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as Sardar Patel and alsa the 'Iron Man' of the country.

He was the first Prime Minister of India, Sardar Patel played a important role in the Indian Freedom Movement, he also United 562 princely states to build the Republic of India. He was the lawyer, government also declared in birthday 30th October as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day).

On his death anniversary today here are some of his life experiences and his role in India

• Patel was born in October 31, 1875. After finishing his schooling he decided to study law in the year 1897.

• Sardar decided to study in Britain as a Barrister, and also managed to achieve the success as defence lawyer.

• After completing his studies, he came back to India in the year 1913, and continued to practice law in Ahmedabad India.

• After which his intrest grew in politics and he got his first post as sanitation commissioner in 1917.

• His prominent presence in protests made him connect with Mahatma Gandhi. After which he always followed Mahatma Gandhi in his entire career.

• After independence Patel was selected as the first deputy Prime Minister of India and his efforts towards the Uniting 562 princely states to build the Republic of India, gained him the title of Iron Man of the country

• His contribution after Pakistan seperation was commendable. He contributed largely to speard peace and non-violence.

• To pay the tribute to Iron Man current Prime Minister Narendra Modi decided to build the Statue of Unity, as statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31, 2018.
