Raghuram Rajan: Instead of big statues Modi govt should build schools & universities

Former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan has criticized the Narendra Modi government's policies. Raghuram Rajan said that instead of building statues of national and religious legends in India, more modern schools and colleges are needed. He has given a detailed commentary on the Indian economy in the article 'How to fix the economy' in the India Today magazine. In this article he has said that Hindu nationalism does not just foment social tensions but also detracts India from its economic growth.
