Rajasthan: MLA Ramila Khadiya slaps on duty head constable

In a shocking incident, independent MLA Ramila Khadiya has been booked for allegedly slapping a head constable while he was on duty in Banswara, Rajasthan on Sunday night. A case was registered against  Khadiya on Monday for allegedly slapping a head constable while he was on duty.

According to the information received, the police constable stopped the bike of MLA's nephew and fined him as he violated covid rules. For the same reason, Khadiya slapped the constable. Police have registered a case against the woman MLA.

The MLA however has denied all the allegations saying,"The allegations are totally false. He harasses people & demands money in the name of enforcing restrictions".

The head constable Mahendra who was slapped by the MLA in Banswara said that,"At a naka, police stopped a youth who was in an inebriated condition. He abused me, grabbed me by my collar & called up the MLA. She reached the spot & started abusing me. While we were talking, the MLA slapped me".

The shocking incident took place at Kushalgad in Banswara district of Rajasthan. The head constable, Mahendra Nath Singh, has filed a case against the woman MLA.
