Ram Nath Kovind rushed to hospital after complaining of chest discomfort

President Ram Nath Kovind is at the Army's Research and Referral Hospital (R&R) here after experiencing chest discomfort on Friday morning. The hospital said in a statement that the President is undergoing routine check-up and is currently under observation. “His condition is stable,” the hospital stated.

Earlier in the morning, the President extended greetings to his Bangladeshi counterpart Abdul Hamid and the people of the South Asian country, on their 50th Independence Day."On behalf of the people of India and on my own behalf, I extend warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of your National Day.
